VANCOUVER DAYCARE & PRESCHOOL PORTRAITS

Daycare & Preschool Photography in Vancouver, BC

Vancouver daycare and preschool photography at your centre. Plan the room and arrival details with an educator-informed team, with no centre photography fee.

Start with the room your centre can use

Planning a Vancouver portrait day starts with your own setting: the available indoor room, how children reach it and when it is needed for other activities. You do not need to decide on an exact equipment layout before making an inquiry. Share the space you have, and the setup can be discussed during planning.

If the room also serves meals, naps or group activities, note those times before selecting a session window. A short route from the classroom to the portrait area can help educators organize children without gathering everyone in one queue.

  • Identify a possible indoor portrait area
  • Note when the room is in use for other activities
  • Choose a centre contact for the day
  • Share the approximate number and ages of participating children
  • Mention whether you are planning school portraits, preschool graduation portraits or both

Confirm the Vancouver location and arrival details

Include the centre’s full Vancouver street address when discussing dates. If your program shares a building, explain which entrance visitors should use and whether access involves stairs, a lift or a reception desk. Mention any unloading or visitor-parking instructions that the photographer should know.

These details help with planning; an inquiry does not reserve a date. EIZO Studio is based in Richmond and serves Vancouver as part of its Lower Mainland service area. The date and arrival arrangements are confirmed with the centre according to availability.

Make the portrait area welcoming for younger children

Studio director Cathy Chan is a certified BC Early Childhood Educator. Her educator-informed approach brings play, movement and gentle guidance to school portraits, with attention to how young children feel around an unfamiliar camera setup.

When discussing the room, identify where a familiar educator can accompany children and how the next group will approach. These details connect your space planning with the children’s experience; a rehearsed smile is not needed.

Choose one benefit for your centre

Your centre chooses one: a 10% return from net portrait sales after applicable production and transaction costs, or complimentary professional educator portraits plus one complimentary one-hour photography session for the participating centre.

The additional session requires advance booking, is subject to availability and has no cash value. The selected benefit and agreed scope are confirmed before portrait day.

Keep family ordering separate from the school day

EIZO Studio manages photography, password-protected class galleries, ordering support and print fulfilment. The centre shares the portrait-day information and helps organize the student flow. Families can then view their gallery and decide privately whether to purchase digital images or prints.

Family support is available in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Before sharing a notice with families, use the gallery and fulfilment instructions agreed for your centre; order deadlines and delivery arrangements should be confirmed during planning.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers, without the runaround.

Do children need to visit the Richmond studio?

No. This service brings the portrait setup to the participating Vancouver daycare or preschool. The session takes place at the centre.

Can we discuss a shared indoor room?

Yes. Tell us how the room is normally used, its access and the times it is available. The suitability and setup are confirmed during planning.

What should we prepare for a Vancouver inquiry?

Have the centre name, approximate student count, age range and reply contact ready. During the follow-up, share the full address, possible dates and any building-access instructions.

Does the centre collect parents’ orders or payments?

EIZO Studio manages the online ordering process and family ordering support. Families independently choose their digital images or prints.
