BURNABY SCHOOL & PRESCHOOL PORTRAITS

School & Daycare Photography in Burnaby, BC

On-site school portraits for Burnaby daycares and preschools. Plan class groups, family notices and your choice of a fundraising or photography benefit.

Build the plan around your class groups

For a Burnaby centre with several age groups or program sessions, begin with an approximate count for each group. A total headcount is useful for the initial inquiry; a simple group outline makes the follow-up discussion more practical.

EIZO’s child-centred approach is informed by studio director Cathy Chan’s background as a certified BC Early Childhood Educator. Consider which familiar educators can accompany each group, where the next children can wait and which routines should stay uninterrupted. Keep meal and rest periods in the planning notes so the sequence can be discussed with the photographer.

  • List the groups taking part and their approximate numbers
  • Note the age range and regular attendance times
  • Identify a familiar educator who can help each group
  • Flag any timetable clashes before a date is confirmed

Give families one clear portrait-day notice

A useful family notice explains when portraits are planned, what children should wear and how ordering information will be shared. Comfortable, familiar clothing and gentle encouragement are more helpful than rehearsing a fixed smile.

If your centre runs more than one program session, check that every participating group receives the same confirmed information. Use the final arrangements agreed with EIZO Studio before announcing dates, gallery deadlines or print delivery details. Family questions about ordering can be directed to our team, with support in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Match the partnership benefit to your priorities

A participating centre chooses one of two benefits. The fundraising option is 10% of net portrait sales after applicable production and transaction costs. It is not a fixed fundraising amount.

The alternative includes complimentary professional educator portraits and one complimentary one-hour photography session for the centre. Its agreed scope can support staff or centre photography; advance booking is required, availability applies and the session has no cash value. Choose the option that fits your centre’s plans before portrait day.

From the Burnaby session to family orders

The portrait setup comes to your Burnaby centre. EIZO Studio is based in Richmond and includes Burnaby in its Lower Mainland service area. Share your full address, preferred timing and approximate student count so availability and on-site arrangements can be discussed.

After photography, EIZO Studio prepares the galleries and manages ordering support and print fulfilment. Families decide whether to buy digital images or prints after viewing their password-protected class gallery. This keeps product selection with each family while the centre focuses on its normal program.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers, without the runaround.

How should a Burnaby centre with several groups start?

Send an approximate total student count and age range in the inquiry. In the follow-up, break that total down by group and share the regular attendance times so the schedule can be discussed.

Can families choose not to purchase?

Yes. Families view their password-protected class gallery and independently decide whether to order digital images or prints. A purchase is optional.

Can we discuss preschool graduation portraits as well as school photos?

Yes. EIZO Studio’s school portrait work includes preschool graduation portraits. Tell us which groups need school portraits and which children are graduating, so the portrait types, agreed scope and class sequence can be discussed together.

Can the centre receive both partnership benefits?

The centre selects one: the 10% net fundraising return, or complimentary professional educator portraits plus a one-hour centre photography session. Its choice is confirmed before portrait day.

Who handles questions after the gallery opens?

EIZO Studio provides family ordering support in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and manages print fulfilment. Confirm the gallery and delivery instructions for your centre before distributing them.
